French bank BNP Paribas has unveiled a virtual reality experience for retail banking.
The VR experience allows users to access their bank transaction records and follow through the various steps of a real estate purchase in virtual reality mode.
The French bank has also designed another VR campaign to raise awareness for the benefits of insuring mobile devices.
“Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality tools will gradually become part of our customers’ daily lives, providing new kinds of interfaces between our various publics and our services,” said Bertrand Cizeau, Head of BNP Paribas Group Communications.
The bank has also produced a corporate film using Virtual Reality techniques. The film plunges viewers into the banking universe and invites them to enjoy a full-immersion experience.
BNP Paribas will display these VR experiences at the second annual Viva Technology Fair, to be held in Paris from 15 to 17 June.
